Ah, I just had such a rubbish date, I had to dump them at the train station. It might make returning to class next week a little uncomfortable for them.

However, I did get introduced to a lovely Korean restaurant. I'll be returning there.

I'm not so much of a masochist that I let myself go through progressively worse dates with the same person. Trash dumping is usually the last stage for them.

Although I suppose if they ask me nicely enough when we're back at university, they might have a redo of stage 2.

They'll probably want to nitpick and argue over everything in it though. It's not worth it. I just make exceptions when they're particularly my type, and inevitably end up disappointed.

Maybe you should go outside more. I quite enjoy the sun and ocean breeze on my face. I think that makes up for any sort of overly hot temperature.

I took my nephew to Wakayama last summer. I survived.

Oh there's some good surf at Wakayama. And the water's lovely and warm.

Isn't Okinawa more ideal? Or does it depend on the season?

Okinawa also has some good surf. It's always good to have options and be adaptable to different conditions.

Do you bring your surfboard in the plane, or do you have one for mainland, one for Okinawa?

All my boards are at home at the moment. If I decided to go surfing here, I'd have to reluctantly hire one. At least I have my wetsuit here with me.

That can be annoying. But it's also an opportunity to use different boards. I would guess, like instruments, they all have their own peculiarities.

They do. Except that not being used the individual peculiarities has slightly more of a consequence with surfing. It's more easy to wipe out.
