I had a lovely birthday on the weekend. It continues to be strange to be celebrating without my family, but I had a very fun night out regardless. Thank you Eishirou and Yuujirou for coming drinking with me, even if it didn't end in the best of ways.
I'm keeping the footage of Eishirou at KFC forever.
I think my favourite present was the snuggie I got from my sister, to help me stay warm for the end of winter. Maybe one day I'll acclimatise to Tokyo.
I've been needing to get out more, before semester starts again and I have less of a social life. I went to the Sumida Aquarium earlier this week - a lovely date spot, if anyone needed ideas. I've also been frequenting various cake shops around the city.
Just a few weeks of freedom left.

It was very cute. A nice place for relaxing as well.

RIGHT? Some cake and dessert shops that you can sit in to eat tend to be a little too much like a posh restaurant. I just want a lot of delicious cake, I don't need a tiny spot of cake with a Jackson Pollock art around it make of sauce that costs 5000en.

Well, if I'm going to places like that, I'm paying for the experience, not so much the cake. Although they're always very nice as well.

They tend to have really good chefs, but I can't afford them. I need more than just a little but of cake. I could buy boxes of cream puffs with that money. Why have you visiting cake shops?

It really does depend on what you're going for and what you're in the mood for. Sometimes I want a whole cake delivered, and sometimes I want something beautifully presented and delicious.
I've had an excess of free time. I'm usually so busy with university, I decided I needed a new hobby for the holidays.

Best hobby in my opinion~ I've been in it for maybe 15 years and it never let me down. (b^_^)b

Just have to watch the waist line.

Hmmmmmm.... lots of water, tennis and gym. There is always the D word (_ _|||)...
no subject
... I suspect we may be thinking about different words starting with D. Unless you have a particular aversion to sex?
no subject
( p_q) .... NOT THAT D! Diabetes <---
no subject
Oh. Well that's slightly more clear. Although you do burn calories from sex.
no subject
I always day 'D' word meaning diabetes, maybe I should be more careful. It's kinda an exercise too, but not like tennis. You probably burn a lot more with tennis.
no subject
Ah... I stopped playing tennis quite a few years ago.
no subject
Then maybe a lot of cake is not a good idea.... only if you exercise a lot elsewhere~
no subject
There are definitely many other types of exercise, Marui-kun. I only played tennis for a few years ago, it wasn't particularly difficult to stop.

I didn't know, I thought you were into it like Kite was.

That being said, to excel at karate, I think it's just as demanding, if not more so, than tennis. Not that it really matters, I'm quite out of practice with both.
no subject
But yeah, you're right. Any physical sport is demanding if you wan to excel, I suppose. I don't like physical work ( ;¬_¬) so I couldn't dedicate so much if I wasn't really into it.
no subject
I suppose, if excelling in a sport is what you want to do...

..What kind of snuggie?
I have a few cake shops near shinjuku that are really good.

A blue one. It's doing its job well at keeping me warm during the day.
Oh? Can you send me the addresses, I might go check them out in the holidays remaining.
no subject
I thought it might have been one of those animal onsies.
Oh no problem. ♥ I'll Dm them you. ;)
no subject
Oh no, just a plain blue one.
Thank you.
