I currently have a grumpy fashion designer in my bed. Since I can't exactly let him fit me into increasingly tighter fitted pants all the time to keep him happy, and taking long baths doesn't seem to do anything, I need other ideas.

What are some good ways to cheer someone up that don't involve leaving the house?

My father's in town for a few days on business and we went out for dinner tonight. I had a really lovely seafood spread with scallops that melted in the mouth. Yum. I think I ate enough to not need to eat anything all weekend, I'm so full.

He was inordinately curious about who I've been hanging out with in Tokyo, and was accusing me of being happier than normal. It's like that's a bad thing. Parents can be very unnecessarily nosey.

On slightly less concerning topics, I'm currently looking for a person to take my cute kouhai out on a date. He's probably the only nice person I know from back in the day and even if he had a stupid growth spurt in the past few years, he's still very cute.

Bonus points if you like bunnies and baked goods. And freckles.

Spring cleaning

Free to a good home: condoms in various sizes.

Also some garbage bags if you want them. They're the extra tough ones that are harder for people to break from the inside.

Thanks for telling Yuujirou about what happened.

Seoul so far has been really lovely. We took a day trip down to the textile museum and otherwise have been busy shopping. I've bought a suitcase as well, to start putting new clothes in. It's just a bit difficult to start repacking now, since I'm still having to pick outfits for the day from my purchases.

Eishirou is currently out doing some stupid morning training thing like he has every day, because apparently even on holiday, he can't take a break. He's very good at sneaking out of bed in the morning without waking me up though and I still don't know how. It lets me have a sleep in and some private time anyway, so it's nice.

The bath is this hotel is fantastic and I'm continuing to build up my plans for renovating the bathroom in my family home at some point. I'm not completely sold on the benefits of a full length mirror in the shower though.

Eishirou - don't forget to bring me back my coffee please.

I had a lovely dinner date out with Tokugawa-kun the other night that was a nice distraction from exams at the moment. Otherwise, I'm continuing to avoid studying as much as I can by looking at places to go in Seoul in just a few days.

I almost feel like a week isn't long enough.

If I'm planning on buying a new season's worth of clothes while I'm over there, is there any point in taking clothes at all? I might as well just buy a new suitcase over there and bring everything back. I also needed to check out a few of my favourite shops back home after that. It's a little strange to think I'm not going to be in Tokyo for a month soon, I need to tidy a few things before I head off.

Also, Eishirou seems to be under the delusion that he's 'cool'. Someone else please set him straight, he's not listening to me.

With the realisation that I'm going to have to cut my hair short eventually, I've decided for the next few years, I might just grow it out as long as possible. My hairdresser is very excited about the idea and we had a nice talk about styles while I was getting my roots touched up today.

I might have to change my diet a bit though, I don't think living on coffee and cake is conducive to sustaining good hair growth.

Eishirou - sorry about taking so long with the date thing, I know you've been anxiously waiting. I haven't been able to find a suitable person who fit all the criteria quite as well, so you're just going to have to go on a date with me. Let me know when you're free ♡

Tachibana-kun - do you like wine? If you're going to cook dinner for me, I feel like I should at least bring something to drink.

I rather stupidly agreed to do some martial arts training a couple of days ago.

I won't be doing that again. Cuddling in bed the night before and breakfast after was not enough of a payment for the amount of pain I've been in since.

There's now a rather large bruise on my hip and it's reminiscent of my Higa Chuu days, in both colour and having bruises on my body. Sometimes I think about just asking someone to carry me up and down the stairs at university instead of climbing them myself.

I have not missed the physical exertions of junior high at all.

Eishirou, because of you, I had to turn down a night out. I expect you to pay me back for that within the next week.

I'm quite glad exams are over now, it was a very stressful week. I had a celebratory full body massage after my last exam and that was lovely. I might have to make it a regular part of my exam routine.

I do however find myself in an awkward position now. I need to cook a meal and I haven't before. Has anyone got any tips for me to keep in mind?

Also, where would you buy a cute apron?

Eishirou: because I was too busy this week to properly talk to you - well done on your French Open display. Unfortunately there were only two marriage proposals, but I'll forward them to you anyway. One of them is a distant cousin of mine, please feel free to reject her.

Tokugawa-kun: When are you free to come over to my place for our next date? I just might need a few days to prepare.

A follow up question

A follow up question from my previous post - thank you to all the people who replied. It's given me a few more options to consider in my quest for finding a date for Eishirou.

I do need to ask another question though, since I remembered that he actually seems to consider emotional attachment a requirement for relationships:

What are your thoughts on love - do you think it's actually an important thing in a relationship? Or is it just a ridiculous human construct and not worth taking into consideration?

Again, thank you very much.

I'm currently looking for a date to set my friend up on. I only get one chance at this and want to make sure whoever I pick is a good match. To widen my search beyond just my friendship circles, I'd appreciate people filling in this survey.

I promise he's very attractive and has the potential to be a very caring boyfriend. Gender isn't really a factor since I know he's been attracted to both males and females in the past.

Name:
Age:
Hair colour:
Height:
Thoughts on having green vegetables shoved down your throat?:
Thoughts on being used as a dress up doll for well tailored one of a kind clothes?
Do you think going and playing tennis counts as a date?:
Do you think being beaten up a dojo counts as a date? (he doesn't aim for the face):

Thank you very much.

I'm back in Tokyo after a very enjoyable time back home with my family. I went out dancing with my sister a couple of nights, went surfing and caught up on sleep. I also indulged in a lot of home cooked meals and coming back to meals here is just... disappointing. I'm already counting down until the summer holidays.

And as usual, since I'm at uni for the actual commemorative day, I got taken to the Peace Memorial Park with my grandmother. An always humbling visit.

And since the conversation came up - I still kind of want a whale shark. Maybe for my 21st birthday.

A new person moved into the apartment next door to mine the other week and I finally ran into them today.

I am never leaving my apartment being anything but impeccably dressed from now on. I'm sorry Eishirou, but your lounge pants are going to be thrown in the bin.

Ah, I just had such a rubbish date, I had to dump them at the train station. It might make returning to class next week a little uncomfortable for them.

However, I did get introduced to a lovely Korean restaurant. I'll be returning there.

Eishirou, Yuujirou, we should do something together before classes get too busy.

After a bit of an incident today, I'd like to get people's opinions on a certain topic with a poll.

Is it a fashion faux pas to wear neon pink with orange and lime green?

I visited a lovely cafe today. I think I need to start taking more photos of the cake I eat, so I can start properly cataloguing it.

I had a lovely birthday on the weekend. It continues to be strange to be celebrating without my family, but I had a very fun night out regardless. Thank you Eishirou and Yuujirou for coming drinking with me, even if it didn't end in the best of ways.

I'm keeping the footage of Eishirou at KFC forever.

I think my favourite present was the snuggie I got from my sister, to help me stay warm for the end of winter. Maybe one day I'll acclimatise to Tokyo.

I've been needing to get out more, before semester starts again and I have less of a social life. I went to the Sumida Aquarium earlier this week - a lovely date spot, if anyone needed ideas. I've also been frequenting various cake shops around the city.

Just a few weeks of freedom left.

I had such a lovely crepe today while out and about today. I normally go for plainer crepes, but the pudding in this one was delicious.

My birthday's approaching really quickly, my family's been asking me about what I want. Perhaps some new clothes, just to change things up.
